When I saw the title of the post, I thought "There's no way some a-hole is gonna post an article about the dude that got stuck under the rock" Haha.

That's some gnarly shit, though. I don't know if I'd be able to do that.

i thought the lesson of the day would be, "don't get your arm stuck in a fucking furnace"....but that works too.

i thought about that... but i realized thats just not going to happen
human beings as a species tend to stick things we shouldnt into places we shouldnt... its ingrained into our DNA

i figured it would be easier to plan ahead for being able to call for help/assistance when you inevitably get yourself stuck, then it would be to change the hardwired tendencies of the human race

i try to live my life proactive rather than reactive. theres no such thing as being overprepared. i don't have to worry about std's and penicillan shots, i wear a condom. i don't have to worry about my car being stolen, i have insurance. you get the picture.

however, you are correct. most humans are idiots and get into shit they shouldn't. mostly out of curiosity or ignorance.

80% of the time, its because of both ignorance and curiosity.
