Just wondering how much your gonna pay for it.

I drove a miata for a little while, I borrowed it from a friend. It was fun to drive and had excellent handling, I just don't like that it is a convertable and I really don't like the styling much. It's defenitly underpowered.

The only car I've driven that handles better and is slightly faster was a 944. With a little more power it would be a good competition against the 944.

Bwhahahahahahaha, a 944 handleing better than a miata. Yeah my buddy tyson has a 944 and can out drive almost everyone I know. We were coming down a fairly windy road out here by Laguna Seca, and his car was all over the road trying to keep up with my roomates blown miata with two of us in it.
Oh and a hardtop and a roll bar is a must for anyone who buys a miata. I have one my roommate has one, my pops has one.

We're just biased, I've owned a 944, you've had a miata. People that don't know how to drive a 944 can't outhandle a schoolbus at the track. People that do can outhandle almost anything on the road. Like the miata it has the 50/50 balance, but it costs more to run, maintain and buy. I'm not trrashing the miata, it's an excellent car, but I'd actually have to own one and track it before I could say it would have outhandled my 944.

I've always wanted the 944 out of 16 Candles, but with an s2000 drivetrain... or a small block Ford would be nice too. :p

YUMMY.

maybe it was an LT-1 either way its an 8 cyl and doesnt distrupt the 50-/50 weight balance much . Figure at most the difference would make it 52/48

My buddy Tyson races in Pro spec miata classes. I think he can handle a 944.

Either way, that first pic isn't an ls1 or lt1... they were never carbed.

I can't tell what the 2nd pic is... it looks sorta like an LT1 but i can't tell.

I think the first one is a 350 (I dont know for sure).
The second one is an LT-1, I know the guy and it does 0-60 in like 4.3 seconds with traction issues. It has a nice 6 speed trans, i dunno which one though.

My buddy Tyson races in Pro spec miata classes. I think he can handle a 944.

I bet, it's not that they're hard to drive, anyone who has remote experience in auto-x could master it after a couple drives. I bet if you've auto-xed miatas you could easily jump on the 944.

You can always carb an FI engine.

Either way, if it were a late model LT/LS1 it would aev center bolt valve covers, not the 4 on teh sides.
