I knew they had way too much evidence and eye witnesses to not win this case over Michael Vick...

ESPN - Vick agrees to plead guilty in dogfighting case - NFL

This sucks because i've been a fan of his since his VT days and he's been one of my favorite NFL players next to Terrell Owens:D

Do you guys think the value of my autographed Vick picture went up or down?:D

I was going to create a thread on this, but i decided to wait. I guess i'll vent a little bit. let me preface this by saying that he is also one of my favorite players. I even have a white vick jersey.

what the fuck was he thinking? is he that big of a fucking retard that you don't realize that shit is illegal? maybe he thought he wouldn't get caught. maybe he thought he was untouchable.

this man WAS the face of Atlanta sports, the Falcons, and pretty much one of the most recognizable faces in sports. He had all sorts of money, fame, women, power and fucks it up with this shit. Why would anybody risk it?

Now he is going to a federal prison. He probably wont ever play in the NFL again, he will have to give back millions in signing bonus. He is the ultimate story of being munsoned. Urban Dictionary: munsoned

ESPN said that 52% of atlanta falcons season ticket owners are african american. he not only let down his family, but also the fans and teammates. there is a lot more to say about this but i'm just at a loss for words. what a fucking idiot. i'm pretty annoyed that this happened.

seriously. Why the fuck do people who have all the Money, Power, and Respect go and risk it all over dumb shit? I.E Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, Chris Henry, ect... It's not just athletes either. Look at fucking Britney Spears, Lidsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, ect...the list goes fucking on and on.

It's one thing to drop money and fame like Pat Tillman and go do something productive but no, retards like to do just plain dumb shit. No wonder Marcus Vick is the way he is, the role model in the family was/is just as retarded as he is.

if i had something that made me rich and famous basically overnight, i would do all the shit I DON'T do now. These fucking people just do drugs, party, and other illegal acts. you don't have to be rich to do that shit. I'm broke and can party like a rockstar all i want. If i had a shitload of money and fame, i would travel, go on vacations, and probably never be seen again.

leonard little... (who got another dui AFTER his dui-accident where he killed a woman) Dont even get me started on Ray Lewis...

But you are right, its fucking stupid that people in positions like Vicks do that sort of thing. I mean come on guy, you have to know that since you play a professional sport its going to be magnified and have possible career affecting consequences.

I liked the response Duece McAllister gave a reporter when asked, "Have you ever been to a dog fight?" He responded, "im from the south.." And its sad but true, its just something thats done in the south.... To some people they grew up around it and act like its ok. But for a superstar to be running a Kennel where they train (and fight and kill) dogs is stupid, atleast put someone elses name on the legal documents AND DONT DO IT AT A HOUSE YOU BOUGHT!!

Anyways, its getting rediculous.... the bigger thing is the gambling charges, that could be permanet ban from playing NFL football. I guess he could go chill in Canada with Ricky Williams and get high.

if you have watched espn, they have been showing vick interviews since he was in college. he has even said himself, "i have to follow better standards and surround myself with good people". he said that shit while he was in COLLEGE! so he knew what the fuck he was doing. I would like to give him the ignorant country boy excuse, but it's anything but that. he was at one time my favorite NFL player, now he's just another case of potential shit out. lump him in with mike tyson and len bias.
