mini me swap need help

I finally made up my mind. I'm doing a mini me swap. The only question i have is do i buy parts for a 1.5L or 1.6L? For example, do i use the timing belt for a 1.6L or a 1.5L? The mini me i'm doing is a d16z6 head on a d15 block. Thanks for any tips or suggestions you may have

i think you need to use the timing belt that matches your water pump but im not positive

No it's the timing belt that matches the head, so get one for a D16z6.

ive done a d15z1 bottom end with a d16z6 head and the d15z1 timing belt was fine there both the same size
