When swapping a D16z6 head onto a D15 engine, besides the head itself, what other items are required? More specifically, will my current D15 intake (injectors, throttle body, sensors, etc) bolt up? Or, should I try and obtain an intake, etc. from the D16z6 motor? Will performance suffer if I use the D15 pieces? Also, will the exhaust manifold from the D15 interchange as well? I know, I know....get a header. Well, I'm not made of money, unfortunately, and I certainly wouldn't be driving a Civic if I were. (I'd be driving an S2000!!!) Anyway, I'm not really convinced of any whopping power gain vs. money drain, a header provides. I just can't justify spending $300-$400 for 3 or 4 hp. Hey, thats $100/hp fer cryin out loud! If anyone has proof to the contrary, I'd love to hear about it. thanks for the help.
