I've herd that a lot of people get an adjustable cam gear when doing a mini me swap. I was just wondering if it is something that is needed. Not sure if it matters but I am putting a z6 head on my a6 block and converting to obd1

depends on whom you talk to...

some people claim the z6 cam will be half a tooth off and you need the adjustable cam gear to advance or retard the cam by half a toof
