    D16A1 engine (88 Integra) with 89 Civic Tranny.

    Thoughts, warnings, support?

    Both D series should match up,but I haven't done it so am not 100%.

    Should bolt up but depends on what car you droping the motor into. Cann't use a d16a1 motor in any civic/crx except the 84-87 and then I dunno if you can still use the 89 tranny.

    And why is that?It came in a teg,what does that have to do with 84-87 civic/rex's which both came with different motors.Nothing

    i think the mounts are different in those years or sumthin

    Ya the mounts on the 84-87 rex are way different.EW series.
