A '97 Porsche 911 Carerra 4S turbo-body

This car is freakin' fast! By far the fastest & best handling car I've ever driven. It sticks to the road & takes turns so well. Only problem is you dont realize how fast you're going... 80 feels like 40!

One day she will be mine! :happydance:

Very very nice! Looks like my friend's '96 911.

Porsche Turbos are great, till you look at the maintenance costs... but then that's true for all exotics.

It's not turbo. Porsche calls their widebodies "turbo bodies" instead.

And trust me... this car doesn't need to be turbo. It's 280HP stock & I think I'd kill myself in it if it were turbo!

I know it's not turbo... but it still should be.

I bet that car's fun but probably not as fun as the Lotus Esprit I got to drive about a year back... THAT was great fun.

First car I ever raced with my civic after being turboed was a 99ish 911 Carerra S
the next gen body style to your parents car.

You really think that car is fast? If I remember right you had a JRSC on your SI at one point..... that should be enough to pass up a N/A 911 in the straights that is... the 911 owns on backroads
but N/A 911s are not very fast I tore the shit out of that 911 with only about 9PSI

When I worked at the dealership, they I got to drive every BMW & even take out a '99 Corvette. Her car is easily much faster than any of them.

You know what's ironic? My mom said that everyone on the road stays away from her. They hang back in traffic b/c they want to make sure they don't hit it & no one tries to race her. She said "The only people that try to race me are these stupid teenage kids in their Hondas".

I gotta call BS on you Jeff. :p I don't think your Civic had even close to 250HP & my mom's Porsche is 280HP. There's NO WAY your civic would've beaten her car. Her porsche is air cooled, while the newer 911s are liquid cooled. I think that makes a difference personally... I know it definitely sounds BADASS! You're old civic is still around, right? Didn't you say recently that someone was racing it at the track?

Horse power has nothing to do with it. Weight to power ratio. And the vette *is* faster than the porsche if you check the specs

jeffs car did have 250 hp, and its a lot lighter then that porche

BAhahhaa my civic had 253WHP at daily drivin setting and your moms 911 has what.... 240WHP?

I owned that 911 and right now my old civic is making 380WHP to work and back for the guy who owns it now

911 N/A is NOT a fast car It is however a wonderful well blanced car but straight line speed is not where the car shines not unless its a TT =)

a stock Corvette should have no problem beating it.
