more problems

    now my check engine light is only when i max out 3rd gear. its 22 and then my check engine light is off until 3rd gear vtec again 1990 integra ls with fully built b16a n/a another thing every cross over point theres one knock... its really weird any ideas?

    code 22 is VTEC oil pressure switch. that might explain why it happens at crossover.

    Make sure your engine oil level is full too.

    oh i know its vtec presurse switch i just dont get why it only turns on in 3rd gears floored.. and besides that it will make one knock sound everytime i hit vtec no matter what gear... sounds like my motor hits the fire wall everytime but thats not. sounds intaral .. runs and idles will besides it like will stay at 2grand unless i tap the gas then itll drop back down

    not changing your oil can cause issues like that as well.
    whens the last time you changed it as well as the filter?

    i got rid of code 22 wires were comming out of the plug... but i still cant figure out why it does a single knock everytime i hit vtec?? and yes i changed my oil and oil filter i just re did my top end

    no ideas? i think its really weird it will knock once into cross over... timing related? idk my timing has been off for awhile now i need a light

    I have no idea :confused:. Something that I would end up guess checking, Timing is a good place to start (ignition, belt, and distributor), spark plugs, then possibly a check of the cams.

    it ended up being my timing being off intake side to retarded and exaust side to advanced
