muscle car fan wanting to spend 5k on honda

hey guys i know this has probably been asked 100 times but i am a muscle car fan that has been talked into trying a honda by a friend. I want the quickest all motor car for around 5 g's and was just asking you guys what you would suggest. My friend told me a hatchback 91' with a b18??? would be good? need yalls expertise thx

btw is 13.7-14.1 range possible on my budget? and the cheaper the better on insurance

i would just buy a 92-95 civic hatch with a b18b or b18c swap. i/h/e

yea pritty much any hatch before 99 with a b18c gsr motor, should get you in those numbers , in that price range, plus the good thing about that motor is you can turbo it in the future at like 8 psi on stock internals and that should get you 250 whp, then if you want even more in the future you can build the internals on the motor to make it stronger , then boost it up to like 450whp !

Stick with muscle cars and buy a 5.0 with a 100 shot.
