I went to an arts high school for clarinet and saxophone. I have been playing those for 12 years. I have been playing guitar for 8 years or so. I currently have a few, I have a 1979 Martin D-28, 2002 Ebony Epiphone Casino, A Takamine beater, and a squire beater.

I play the drums. Kind of novice, I'm putting together a band right now, not really good, and not unique yet.

We play stuff along the lines as alice in chains, and weezer.

I've been playing for 6 years now, but I took 2 years off.

Drumming is my way out, I don't do drugs, I don't drink, I try to attempt to not speed, and drumming is my way to let go, and just go with the flow.

ive been playing drums for about 8 years... so yea

right now im in Drumline at school playing bass drum. i also play Snare, quads, Tri's, and the like....

Im good on the set. I play Jazz and Latin mostly, but i can play rock just as well as everyone else.

I was um...in the school band from 6th to 7th grade...yeah I got bored of it. :)

i played the clarinet in middle school. i got bored of it after a year and quit because i hated going to rehearsals and the concerts sucked. as far as any instruments i play now, the answer is no but for awhile i was making electronica beats about 2 years ago and i got halfway decent but i got distracted by working on my car :) i need to get back into making beats again...it was fun. programs i used at the time were Cakewalk (same program Wu-Tang used) and this other one i forgot. i have almost 2 gigs worth of beats and sounds that i used when i was making beats.

I'm the guy you see behind the boards :-D i'm into the whole mixing/producing side pretty big, but i'm gonna start going to a local studio to learn shit, b/c i'm clueless on it, just love watching/reading about it. also i do vocals.

we got this book at work called "How To DJ Right" i can get for if you are interested. its a pretty good book. very informative and well written IMO.

James...i rented mine from a local music shop. i cleaned and santized the top part and bought new reeds to use. YUCK those reeds were nasty!! :yuck:

haha I always liked the taste of the reeds. I just hated when I went to play and i'd nail my teeth on the reed and break it.

I have a Pacific CX Series 5 pc. kit. (i play a 4 though) It is actually made by DW. They have 8 ply all Maple shells and nice bearing edges. I would highly recommend it to any of you guys that are looking for a nice mid-level kit. AA and AAX sabians.

*cough* DW owns Pacific, they don't make it. *cough* They're actually made in Taiwan and Mexico. Whereas DW is made in Oxnard, California. I had the honor and privledge to work with Chris Lombardi, son of founder Don Lombardi and now C.E.O. of Drum Workshop. Pacific Drums and Percussion is actually his baby, so he doesn't have to rely completely off of the kits his father and John Good made so popular. I was the DW guy at the drum shop I used to work in. :D

Yes, you are correct. Thats what i meant. The company Drum Workshop owns Pacific Drums and Percussion. :D

Have you played a Pacific CX or LX kit? If you haven't go try one at your music shop or Guitar Center. I played them right next to DW collector series at FORKS Drum Closet in Nashville, TN. They did not have quite the tone as the DW but VERY close! I was really suprised! For the price you cannot beat the CX kit. (killer wrap too!)

I would have got DW but I didnt have quite enough money for one of those! :(
