I recently bought a 2000 ex. Im stuck in between boosting vs swapping a b16 in. Im not sure what to do. i know i wont be making alot of power boosting a stock sohc. I would be probably be making the same hp if i were to boost or just swap.

i would LOVE some advice from the seasoned veterans.
    thanks!

A stock B16 only makes 160 horses, less by the time it actually gets to the pavement. You'd very likely do better by boosting your single-cam engine...

Turbo the SOHC. You won't be disappointed.

A decent setup will EASILY put the B16 to shame.

If your budget allows it, I'd say swap a b16 or gsr and then boost. Again as ahhvtec said, just depends on what kind of power gains your lookin at getting.

Sounds like every 1 is leaning towards boost and so am I considering i dont have 5 grand to drop into this project unfortunatly =( haha but either way im only looking for power gains in the 200's not trying to make a beast, just a fun/quick daily driver.
