My all-motor LS 1/8 mile times

thats actually not that bad considering if i did it it would have cost me less than 10 gs including the car and the swap. But i'm boosting and hoping to hit 13s on a budget turbo set up.

I have way less than 10g's in my car. Thats in everything, because I did everything to it. No Labor costs, period!

Me spending way less than 10 g's = A 13 sec car easy!!!!!!
 
so far i didnt spend more than 3 grand including the car. The swap was about a grand the car was 800 and body work was about 200, plus various miscellaneous parts. I did all of the work myself so far.
 
cam gears are at zero, remember it is untuned. I bought my car for $400 with a clean title. And my father-n-law does bodywork, so the paint and body work was free. I bought the swap and me and my buddy (Bcreez) went from there. The only labor ever was the machineshop.

bullshit i knew u had to have something done cool setup but u are still a little slow my friend this my 1/8 and 1/4 time just on slicks and no spray, with spray i ran 11.963 but got kicked off the track because i did not have a roll bar in car

Welps i've gotta give it to you that it's a pretty quick car, but its only quick in the 1/8 of mile though not to be hating or any thing but ls only have that low end power from 1st to 2nd basically thats what 1/8 a mile are but once you hit the 1/4 of mile it probaly won't be all that considering your gonna have to count on your third gear a whole lot more so with out v-tec that means slower times unless you are going to be spraying nos for the high end. Still its quick for ur budget though good job.

:lol: You don't know what to hell you are talking about! An LS with Cams is powerful up high in the powerband. My 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears are good. It is 4th and 5th that is wide open.

My brother has a Toyota Celica GTS 6 speed and he runs 9.4's all day on street tires. Gts's are fast up top. We rolled off on the highway the other day from 50 mph. I immediately pulled two cars lengths on him and then just a gradual pull when I hit forth. But he never would have caught me..........ever!

My mph on the eight is 80. Even civics with CTR swaps run the same mph.
