I'M getting ready to put a new engine in my 93 civic cx hath and was wondering which would be better a b16 or b18?

go with b18 if you don't wanna have to drive everywhere between 6 and 8K rpm's

Thats 6 to 8k only depend on the tranny you will be using,as for b16 the torqueless wonder,first of all what b18 do you mean B18A or the B18C1 if so i would jump on the B18c1 handsdown if not go with the b16 and turbo it, the b18a has 1.8 +torque -Vtec unless your think of LSVTEC 1.8+torque+Vtec in that case your better of getting a B18C1 will save you the trouble and will only better your chances of not F'ing Up something in the long run.

I'm lookin at going wither a b18c1 with a type r head or a b16 jdm either way i've got a GReddy turbo i'm going to put on the b16 would be cheaper but is the b18 that much better that i should def. go wit it
