my eg swap with a b18c4

    hi guys i recently bought a b18c4 engine for my eg and i want to change the engine it is currently a 1.5lsi i have the new wiring loom for the b18c4 but im not sure if it will plug into the existing loom can anybody tell me what i need for it to work or what i need to do?

    the b18C4 is the same as the GSR swap

    as long as your EG and the donor car that the B18C4 came out of are both the same side drive (rhd or lhd) then the harness should plug right in to the plugs at the shock towers on your EG

    so you will need to add the wiring for the secondaries
    depending on your EG you may need to add the wires for VTEC as well

    other than that you shouldnt have to do any other wiring

    look for info on a B18C(1) or GSR swap and you will find all of the instructions laid out pretty clearly

    yes they are both rhd. as far as i know it is not wired for vtec but with the new engine i got i didnt get the dash loom from the donor car! will i need a harness for the secondaries?

    you will just need to add a few wires between the ecu and shock towers

    what OBD is the B18C4?

    ok well i have the p9k ecu at the moment but was going to use the p72 ecu??
