ok so i just bought a 95 coupe. its got the d16z6 motor, and i wanna know what everyone thinks of the z6 motor.?? Also i wanted to know where i could get a cheap b series swap from.....and maybe a cheap turbo kit...ive been in to hondas for ever but this is my first car and i wanna be able to do it up nice but money is a factor so i need to get everything cheap....i know that probally isnt gonna happen but i just wanted to see......:):)

The Z6 is a good motor, you could always just build it and turbo it, I believe Blanco is a fan of it.

I don't think cheap + turbo kit belong in the same sentence though. Go for quality parts.

    cheap + turbo = bad
    cheap+fast = don't last and bad

take your z6 get your basic mods/bolt ons do a little research

If it is your first build i would stay with a d-series and build that. Those motors are good to about 230 hp (with a good tune of course) on stock internals. And if you mess up like i did, they are easily and inexpensive to replace.

The best idea for a turbo kit is to make one if money i a factor. It you have access to a pipe bander and a welder you can do it. Go to Homemadeturbo.com for more information and read others builds.

If done right, a homemade kit will work great for small build, if done right though. A lot of the problems that occur are in the tune. A turbocharged car is NOTHING without a good tune.

As for the body, keep it clean. A nice ctr lip kit (painted to match the car), nice suspension, nothing sitting on the ground, that is terrible for daily driving. Keep it gangster and get some mugen wheels, or rota's since you cant afford mugen's...

I'm a fan of EJ's... but got myself into getting a EG... Z6 isn't a bad motor. relatively aftermarket for it is yet cheap I got myself in my eg...And to find a cheap b-series motor that isn't that cheap but very decent go to website Hmotorsonline.com

I'd stay with the D since you're on a tight budget.

Stick with the paint, that red looks nice. Get some matching rims, you could always go with some Si's, Ls web's, blades, or you could always get some rotas for it. But the first three will be cheaper. I would recommend against putting any body kits on it. Just spend $500ish on suspension and it'll look a lot better.

I don't know if I'm a fan of the mirrors you have on it now, they look kinda cheesy.
