well last weekend i had my first HPDE. it was a great experience and i cant wait to go again. this was at Summit Point raceway in WV. i met a lot of cool people and learned a lot that weekend. the car definitley felt very fast. i took corners harder and faster than i thought it could :) only real complaint i had was the brakes. they started to fade after a few laps. definitely gonna get some better pads for the next event.

    basic breakdown of my setup

    engine:
    GSR motor
    .25 OS jdm itr pistons
    gsr head with headwork
    s2s2 cams
    itr IM
put down about 215 whp last september

    susp.:
    tokico illumina shocks
    GC coilovers (500F/400R)
    GC tophats
    susp. tech. 22mm sway bar
ES master kit including TA bushings

    brakes:
    10.2" rotors
    ITR calipers
    Hawk HPS pads
    valvoline synpower dot4+ fluid (500*F)

and i weighed the car in at 2200 lbs with me in it with 3/4 tank. its a 91 si and ive stripped it down pretty well. everything in the interior is gone except the dash and seats. plus i ripped out the sunroof and put in a CF plug. gave me near 2" of extra headroom while dropping like 25lbs. oh yea, the rear wiper was removed as well.

some pics from the weekend, ill have some more once i get them off my gf's camera. big thanks to the guy who took these pics.

as you can see the car looks pretty terrible but it performs great! i had a blast, and i think they only bad thing all weekend was getting stung by a freaking bee, lol.

LMAO, i had quite a few people come up to me asking what i had in it. lots of people were surprised that i hung with them, or they were having problems hanging with me :) lol

i dunno about the flat black. maybe after a get a new set of doors and fenders. they are rusting to all hell.

yea its about 2050 wit no one in it and the gas. not bad for a stripped down Si. i still have stock seats, and bumper supports, heavy doors with seatbelts etc. and im sure i can loose weight in other areas such as lexan windows, CF parts etc. but thats too expensive for now lol.
