Motor was purchased brand new from honda.

*me vs 00 camaro...specs on camaro include:
(mass air filter, l6 intake manifold, ported throttle body, exhaust...dynoed at 336rwhp.
it went 12.9's in 40 degree weather in atlanta, went 13.2's down in bradenton in hot weather, on street tires, not nitto's)

was from 50mph to 110mph.

nice looking car Chet :thumbsup: in a few of the pics, the passenger side fender and bumper look its a different color..you get into a lil fender bender and had em fixed and repainted??
 
my boss backed into me...and damaged the passenger side fender...

about 2 months ago i found a fender that matched and replaced it...

that was the only damage done...
 
are you talking about the se-r with drag turbo kit?

no, i haven't...from a roll right now he'd wax me...i need 185whp before i can hang with him...
 
i'm sure we'll meet up at some point...he seems to get out quite a bit...

its a pretty stout car from what i understand...runs 13.2's from a stop with limited traction...

from a roll i'm sure he'd give me more than i could handle...although i guess we'll see.
 
Yea, it seems like a stout little car. A little unexpected from it, seeing as it looks damn near stock, except that nice FMIC sitting down there.

I didnt know it ran a 13.2, i did know it was fast. Yea, he says he is out all the time.

Let us know how it goes after it happens.

:thumbsup: I am digging how you used a black valver cover, to conceal the fact it is really Type R powered until they look at the engine code.
 
regarding the black valve cover...

i actually had a few kids tell me i didn't have a type R motor because i the "wrong valve cover."
 
Damn. Looks good man. Hurry up an dyno that thing. I'll bet you get another 10-15 horsies from playing with fuel and timing. Seriously. With all the changes you've made, the tune is probably pretty far off.

Keep it running, don't suck up any more puddles, and roll out, Chet! Can't wait to get my shit together, and come down there to visit sometime.

:D That's what I thought you were going for. I know you had a dohc_vtec of some kind before so you probably just used the old one right?
 
You should have kept the red valve conver in the back seat and just fucking clobbered those fucks that said that over the head, stupid idiots. I hate that red color,,,,,,,,

actually...the head new from honda does not come with a valve cover.

if it had come with one, i would have sold it on ebay.
