:werd: shots should always be aimed center mass (if the shooter was aiming center mass, then i highly recommend more range time ;) )

the poconos used to be a nice area. Now the guardian angles are forming around here to help combat the gangs. I don't understand what happened, the local people around here were always fairly redneckish and owned lots of guns, were proficent with them and didnt mind killing things (hunting). Guess too many out of staters came in.

What was the figure? 85% of shots fired by trained officers who spend required time on the range training.. miss the target completely in a real world situation.

Shooting at the range is one thing, avoiding getting your head blown off while ducking behind what the fuck ever happens to be near, and popping shots whenever you can is a completely different ball game.

werd man, when I went for gun training last year, we actually were able to kneel under a bent over table and pop up and shoot at a target for that reason. The trainers there said the same thing you did, and its damn true, it basically comes down to you keeping your head straight

How is that Wal-Marts fault? Just curious to see your logic on it.

there's tons of fucked up stuff going on there constantly. This incident is not there fault directly, more of a societal one, but what do you expect when you cater to the lowest common denominator. Also it's not just one thing it's a cumulative of many things like multiple class action lawsuits by employees, the filth and squalor of the stores, toxic toys on the shelves and the clientele that walks the aisles Keep in mind that this store is not in a major city but rather in a small rural town of east stroudsburg pa How many times can someone/something else be blamed? When do we take responsibility ourselves? There have been problems as this store before. How bout instead of being reactive we try being proactive and maybe put some more stringent security measures into effect.

I agree. When I saw the thread I figured Wal-Mart sold him the gun. But it seems like he was there to rob them. Why Wal-Mart? The guy probably figured they had the most coin in the till. Don't get me wrong, I hate the place... I just don't see how this is their fault.
