the body looks like its in great shape. definitely the nicest body style of all the escorts IMO.
You didn't specify JDM GTX. You just said that "familia" which is a broad range of US motors used in Escorts, tracers, Miatas, 323s, and Proteges along with their JDM counterparts in Japan and even the Laser TX3s in Australia.
JDM GTX=1.8L BPT using an IHI RB21 (or is it RB11?) turbo with 180 hp 180 torque.
I don't need to google anything up... I know just as much about the GTX familia as you probably do.

You don't know what you can do with these cars, it's not as slow as some people think, being that it's only 1/2 second slower than a Civic Si. It's gonna be quite a project for him...one that I got sick of thinking about.

I've seen a 2nd gen GT push 545 and run 11.22s and another one running low 13s with 325 hp. I've seen a ZX2 run mid twelves, but it was a built for the track purpose track car, and it wasn't street legal.
