Anyway...he's going to build an engine. So the stock engine, which runs strong but uses some oil, isn't going to be used. 2nd if you think 13s and 12s are gay just because of the car thats running it, then I suggest you swallow your pride, and have fun having your ass handed to you by a "gay" car.

Why are you stuck on Honda's? do you have a love affair with blowing your load in your gas cap on your honda? That poor car. I'm so sick of people who are stuck on one company and don't want to experience anything new. If I was like that I would have bought another Escort instead of getting my Si.

That is NOT too many miles for the year of the car, and if you had read through the rest of the thread, you would have realized that the engine used in the GTs isn't a "domsetic" engine. It's a Mazda BP series 1.8. As you hopefully know, Mazda is a Japanese company. Aside from the timing belt breaking (which can happen to ANY car) that engine has NEVER given me any problems in the two years I've owned it. I'm so sick of haters who just tell people how gay shit is without ever experiencing ANYTHING of it.

Ok I'm done...but I had to get that out of my system. :angry:

Just because the engine was made by a foreign company doesn't necessarily mean that it is good, just like how if a car is made in the states, that doesn't necessarily mean that the car is of crappy quality.

And yeah, actually Metro's do suck ass, big time. A Metro is a cheap ass GMC body with somebody else's engine thrown in there. And I'm not an expert on the Geo series, but the point of it was to provide some cheap ass econo-car competition to all the imports that were flooding the market, so I would assume the engine choice reflected that philosophy...

I'd like to see you build up a metro, with that bad-ass Suzuki engine in there...

Geo's are not restamped Chevy's until 1997. Geo was it's own company before 1997 when Chevy bought it out/acquired it or whatever.

well being my first time and it was a half assed attempt at shaving it because it was going to get welded over to make it flush, I'd agree with the trunk shaving part.

I didn't "lose" my love and joy. I gave it to some good hands who will take care of it.

The Si is a whopping 1/2 second quicker than that very GT. wow what a big step that was. :roll:

I like all cars. I post on several different car sites. I drive a stratus. It's an overgrown neon. I don't think neons are gay. Some are actually kinda quick. My domestic has 160,000 miles on it. It's still more reliable than most of my friends' newer cars. :asshat:
