As mentioned above, be careful with messing around with a boost controller without engine management. A little upping of the boost won't hurt you, but 1.25 bar seems a tad high for the stock turbo. Here at altitude, we don't like to go much above 1.1 bar on the stocker. At your elevation, you might get away with 1.25, but you're pushing the limits of the turbo.
Also, do some research, but the consensus is that a FMIC with that undersized turbo is generally a bad idea. If you really want more cooling (which isn't terribly necessary until you start upping the boost and dealing with EM), just get a larger TMIC, keep your stock heat shield in place, hook up a water sprayer kit, etc. A FMIC could actually hinder your performance.
