my new old kz

im not sure what year this thing is but im guessing 1974. but its a kawasaki kz400 but any how this old guy had it and he could not get it to start so he let me have it for 50 bucks i got it home to find out it runs and rides great the guy was just turning the key to the wrong spot lol, but it needs a little tlc but i got it so cheap im gona do her right and fix her back up to her prime.

I know a guy that has one of those that he has A LOT of work into. Its a cafe racer and it kept up with a 12 second camaro. Have fun.

yea i love the way they look but the motor style sucks after you get up to speed its feels real unsafe because the pistons go up and down at the same time,for that year modle.

It's easy to make a real cafe racer.. just loosen the handlebars, swing them down, strip all the extraneous stuff off and "go for the century"

Because 100 mph is quite a different thing on an older bike than a newer one.
