    90mph + 25lb porcupine =

If you look at the above picture, imagine how big the porcupine was to bend my brand new license plate like that.

This is a straight up and down shot. Here you can see how far back the radiator fans were pushed, especially the left one at that angle. The right fan has it's blades wedged around the 02 sensor. And because of the fans, my hood won't latch at all, even if you try to force it.

From the looks, the radiator is punctured fairly good. The antifreeze came pouring out when I pulled over. The fan supports are out of whack and I can' tell all what is wrong until the shop gets to look at it.

The front bumper will be need to be completely repainted now. Unfortunately, I'm in such a time crunch that I can't wait for a body kit to be shipped in. One option I have is that a guy in town is selling his Tsunami front lip, so I could get that and paint it white and put it over the front bumper since it would cover where the cracks in the paint will be. We'll see how much the damage estimate is on Monday.

Stuff that sucks about this: It happened at 1:30am well out of town where I can no real idea where I was so AAA had a heck of a time trying to send out a tow truck to where I was. And since I don't know this town, I had the car towed to the Honda Dealership. They don't have a body shop, so I had to have my Civic re-towed to a body shop this afternoon. AAA is sure paying for itself right now =)
I'll also be out of all means for transportation to college, work, etc for a week or so. Fun stuff to figure out in a new town. And no I can't rent a car. Not one single renter would give me a car because I wasn't 25. What a load of crap.

    More information on Monday....

Wow! That sucks. I hit a large raccoon dead center last fall on the Garden State Parkway... I guess I got off easy. I'm also glad that I have some extra hatchies in my yard. Good luck man!

DAMN YOU ARE MY FREAKING HERO!!! Why did you have to kill a poor animal man... j.k.

damn, you sure you didn't hit a dog or something? that's a lot of freaking damage. I didn't know a porcupine could do something like that.

I've seen that kind of damage from hitting jackrabbits out in the midwest US before. I can totally see how it happened.

Now here, I hit a Deer with my CRX, and the damage wasn't even that bad. Of course, the deer was dead when I hit it.. and I think a lot of you recall the gross outcome of that.

Wash the underside of your car REALLY well. Because it's gonna stink so bad the vultures will hotwire it and take it home.

you darn pocupine killer LOL... well imagine this, I'm into building lowriders. One day my bro and I are cruising after leaving our hang out spot here in L.A. One night after we leave the hang out spot, it was all dark and sh_t. This retarded A%S cat decides to run through the street as we were hopping and basically the tires caught the middle of his body. Not nice since we had to clean up the chrome undercarriage GRRRR... freaking cats, that's why I hate them... lol
    :bash: cats :bash:
