My rpm is low when im not moving

im a noob at this website but not with cars but i dont know why my acura rsx types 2002 rmp are low when the car is not moving.... please help me...

what do you mean like with the clutch in or just cruisung because both are normal thats what its suppose to do

you should be idling between 650-750rpm

when the car is park not runing and also when im in a red light in first gear

well it needs to be at 500 at least. do you have any check codes

check codes ?? my cousen told me it a censord at the manifol but my uncle say that if the check engien light is not on it not a sencord

if your check engine light is not on then its fine. my 02 rsx type s has low rpm around 400. but i have mods to mine so its fine dont worry about it until you get a check light or the motor dies
