next semester in school we are studying engines and performance, and my teacher is gonna let me do my motor swap in class. even though i drive a honda and im in a ford asset program.....oh yea ive been working at the local lincoln mercury dealer for a little while now and im having a whole lot of fun

Um that's is prety damn awesome, what engine are you swapping ad into what car? My teacher in small engine repair is going to do a class demonstration on Valve Adjustment, on my Integra! He's certified ASE and is teaching the lawnmower engine class (thus small engine repair) for some extra money... He's cool as shit though. Good luck...

im buying a ZC off my friend in class after christmas and we are putting it in in like Jan. the ford asset program out at longview is awsome. im liking it so far, even though electrical is kicking my ass...oh the motor is going in an 89 dx hatch

I could do that in my volk auto class but the two major reasons why I do not want to is because a, I would be without a car for 2-3 weeks (if it takes 2 10 hour days to do a swap then that means 2 hours a day x 10 days = 20 hrs) b, I have alot of retards in my class so I am going to do mine at my house.

my teacher is letting me and friend that im buying the motor from skip lecture the day we do the swap so we can get it done in one day, and plus i wont have to buy any extras because my friend is selling me everything to make the swap work. so the most time consuming part will be getting my old motor out.

take advangtage of that stuff if your high school offers classes like that, you'll very rarely be able to have acess to a shop and tools like that unless you get into the automotive field. learning mechanics and bodywork will save you an assload throughout your life.

damn my automotive teacher was sweet. i put in alot of stuff in his class, and he helped me with alot of stuff including parts of the swap. then i gradded from that high school, and he said if i ever need to go back to use the lift or tools, just stop by and ill have everything of his to use!

I'd like to go back to college to be an engine/transmission specialist.

Working at a Ford garage will surely net you tons of business.
