Myth? Local airport closed due to presidents travel activities?

So a client came in to the office today.
Apparently she was going to the local airport to have a flying lesson but was denied because of something involving the president? She thought he was coming to town, but it appears not.

The only thing I have found is that he was possibly flying into Bradley Airport in CT today, which is about 2:21 road time from my local "airport".

Would they close an airport seemingly far away because the pres was flying in?

President Bush flew RIGHT OVER MY HOUSE today... in the Navy 1 helicopter convoy (6 CH53s) it was awesome. his flight plan puts him only a few hundred feet up.,

I worked in medina, wa last summer, and they shut down the entire place, and we couldn't go on main drags, or anything because his convoy was coming through.
