n00b LS/VTEC header question

Little background on the project at hand: My buddy has a 95 Integra LS which at the moment is bone stock. However, we plan on building an LS/VTEC for it beginning soon (for the record, I love this site to death for all its references), using a B16A2 head. My question is, If he were to get a header and maybe an exhaust system for the stock B18 just to liven it up a little while we get the engine built, would they still fit the LS/VTEC, or would there be clearance issues for the manifold with the new head? (i.e. would it be fine to get a header now, or just wait and get one for a B16 when all is said and done? im not sure about the block/ head heights on either.)

Don't get one for a B16, it won't fit; it'll be too short and won't clear the oil pan. Get a header/exhaust for a B18.
