Need a engine in So Cal, where the best place to go

Can anyone recommend a good place in Souther Cali where I can find a good price on a B18B engine? I was hopping to spend around $500-$600. I email those Canadian guys for a quote but I would rather deal with some one local if any problems arise. Thanks.

Honestly I don't know if you're going to find a B18B from a reputable shop with a start-up warranty for $500. Most of the reputable online shops (H-Motors, etc.) are charging about a grand for them, and that's sans shipping...
