need a little info

i wanna wire a kill switch to my starter signal wire now i need to know what color that wire should be and if this would be a good enough way to keep the car from starting unless its flipped? i've searched and havent found exactly what im looking for... i need to know the wire color and where it runs from to the fuse block. thanks guys.

I would do a fuel pump kill, with just doing a starter kill the car could still be bump started.

I think mine was yellow/green but thats for a 96-00 Civic. Possibly different for your chassis.

i just put it on the power for the fuel pump and it works like a dream thanks guys

or...... use the clutch switch..... the engine won't turn over if you use that
as for a switch... i would try and find something to put into one of your empty factory switch holes ( by using a factory switch) that way if someone trys to steal it they wont know which switch to push or how to actually crank it.

yeah i wanna rewire my fuel pump one into the rear defroster switch? since it doesnt work anyway...
