okay, I am looking to make some more power for this upcomming season with my 94integra, b18c5

bone stock engine
china 50trim
cast manifold

it currently makes (on crome), mustang dyno
-6 psi
-300hp/200tq.
-8500rpm RL
-19deg. timing
-11.5-12.2 A/F

my thoughts...
-thick HG
-arp studs
-real manifold and turbo
- intake manifold

and whatever (rev/psi) will make me 400whp

is this SAFE to do on a bone stock b18c5?!?!?!?!

any suggestions!?

thanks,

matt

i would go with a ramhorn header and a ball bearing turbo with biger injectors and a good tune good luck

im not against anything you say, but i would like your opinion on WHY you say these?

ramhorn as opposed to any other $600 manifold i can buy??

and, my injectors are at hmm... precision 680cc, 8500rpm 6psi @ 61% duty cycle.. i feel like i should max em before i drop all that money on a set of 1000's

turbo though, much agred.

thanks,

matt

You can certainly make more power with a little bit better turbo setup and a little more boost. A better turbo manifold, with a nice 3" down pipe will help. You should be able to make near 400whp with the injectors you have. I would think it should be pretty safe as long as its dyno tuned well. A smallish turbo might take 12-15 psi to get there. If it was me i would be scared to push more boost than that with that high of compression ratio.

X2 i totally agree... heres the newest plan...

topmount manifold
hx35 turbo, 7blade cold and 9cm2 hot

70thou headgasket, arp studs and new t belt and water pump

should drop me to 9.6:1 - 10.0:1 somewhere in there...?

go from 6psi to 10-15psi, add a hair timing and fuel and try for 380-400whp

???? good idea?

thanks,

mat

it sounds great, as long as its tuned well. do you have someone that dyno tunes or are you just doing street tuning?

OST dyno in harmony, PA
