need help building d16y8

ok so im bout to get my hands on a d16y8 plans for the motor is building it for low compression then turbo what all do i need/should do to internals before slapping a turbo on it also i may have to replace/rebuild my tranny soon.. is there anyway i could use a b series tranny or gsr tranny or do i have to stick with d series tranny?? thanks in advance

Shaggy..do you have any experience building engines or hondas?

No, a B series tranny will not mate with a D series.

Its cool you want to jump right into things but do some homework.

i have a lil experience still in the learning process.. and the reason i asked if i could use a b series tranny is cause i heard you could? but i guess i miss understood from someone else. and ive been doing my homework gonna go over it though so i make sure i make a A+ but i just wanted a lil more infor on what all i will need parts wise and what ill have to do to reach my goal..

I would do oil control and compression rings, ARP head and rod bolts, and rod bearings.
