Need help choosing the right turbo for my 95 teg this is all the work i had done on it so far
b18 b block with a b16a1 head (sir/type r head)
Ls Vtec conversion
main rod and rod bearings
upper and lower gasket kit
P72 ecu chipped and tuned
22 tooth water pump
upgraded oil pump
skunk2 cam gears
je pistons 9.5 to 1
eagle rods
stage 2 clutch
i thought its a pretty good start for it and it runs great....but i have no clue when iit comes to which turbo to pick i know that i want atleast 400 to 450 whp ....i don't wanna choose the wrong one and have it shit on me in a month or worse hurt the engine work. any suggestions expiriences or knowledge would greatly be appreciated...
 
well do you want more low end torque,,or more high end torque?
and rlly the tune is what makes the power along with some of the turbo
 
if ypu want high end torque get a bigger turbo,they take a little longer to spool up,meaning most of your power will occur after 4k rpm
 
^Werd! or even a gt3076r would give you the best of both worlds. Not terrible spool with lots of topend.
 
GT28Rs, GT2871R, or GT3071r.

All very capable of 400-500 hp and are sized well
