need help eg b18 jrsc

hey what up i have a few things im nt sure about i have a gsr b18 in an eg when its cold and i start it the car turns off i hae to hold the gas down after about 5 min it will stay on bt at very low rpms if i run it and i get to a stop it will shut off again dnt know why. i think i should mess with the throttle bt nt sure. also it sounds like it miss fires some time and lacks power when it does that i think i might need new wire set bt im nt sure. lastly my alternator belt keeps getting loose or snaping off what can i do to fixs this thanks for any help peace

my bad i for to mention it has a jrsc at 6psi again thanks for any help

Have you checked your Idle Air Control valve? It may be gummed up from carbon or the valve my be worn out. I had this same problem and I replaced the IAC valve and the problem went away. Try cleaning it first with some pressurized carb cleaner and an old tooth brush. If that doesn't work then replace it.
