:Dhow can i get more power out of my 88 accord lx ,it is carb'ed. my uncle rebuilt the engine so i really dont want to sell it. :confused:
 
There really isn't much that you can do. Enjoy it for what it is. Get a motor and rebuild it, then drop it into a CRX or a hatch, and have a DD as well as a fun, spirited driving car.
 
I second the CRX. Never had one, but i drove my friends a few times. it had the factory engine in it, a short throw kit, a shock tower bar, and eibach springs. You could do 35 with the wheel turned all the way, and it would barely screech. With a bad clutch it would keep up with my bmw with a bigger engine and a good clutch. wish i coulda snagged it up when he sold it. He sold it for 1200. Needed a clutch. Love them.
