need help w/shift lock

much love to hondaswap!!! engine/trans is in, car runs, one question- EVERY time i put the car in PARK, the the shifter locks and i have to stick the key in the slot to unlock it. whats up with that? what do i need to do?

Push the button? Wire your interlock so the car thinks your key is always in place?
