NEED HELP! wiring 00 b16a2 into 92 civic dx

i have a 00 b16a2 in a 92 civic hb dx, i am using the original wire harness but i cant get vtec to work. i am using a 95 gsr ecu... which should work i believe. but i was wondering if u guys could tell me what i need to do thanks...

if i were u, ill use a b16 ecu. gsr have secondary butterfly and will not make vtec work, or i think. go get a chipped p28 or a p30 ecu. thats my suggestion.............................oops my mistake

the gsr ecu doesn't care if the secondary butterflies are there or not, vtec would still engage. only problem with that ecu is vtec will engage way too early, ~4400rpm. is the ecu showing any codes?
