Need Help With A 4g Civic Sir Swap

    can you put a 5spd civic sir 1 engine into a 1989 4spd civic hatch?

    I would think so,since you'd be changing everything over anyway.

    Never done it,but I don't see why not.The only thing I can think of is maybe the 4 speed motors and tranny's have different mount points,but once again I don't see why they would.Also maybe a different fuel delivery system that you'd have to deal with,ie;dual point to multi point.
