So i swapped a b16a into my 91 dx crx. The car runs fine, except for the fact that my thermostat isn't reading and now my car begins to overheat.( i can tell because the extra coolant that sits on the side begins to steam up) I think i have everything plugged up the way it should be. I installed a new thermostat and still nothing is happening. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks

the radiator is pretty new, i bought it brand new from napa about 7 months ago. I'm pretty sure there aren't any clogs because when putting in the swap i purchased new hoses. And everything seems to be plugged up correctly. and nah no one has messed with my dash at all.

does the fan work test it if it does then my guess would be coolent temp sensor

well if you ever did your brakes its all most just like that it should be close to the thermostat i think but i need to do that to mine but check you sensor becouse if your needle doesnt work theres a problem there
