i have a 90 crx si with a 95 d16z6, i bought a cheap ass no name aftermarket tach and it didn't work right. so then i bought an apexi tach, hooked it up the same way, and it didn't work right either! WTF! the revs on the apexi tach are totally different from the stock tach. like when the stock tach is at 3500 the apexi tach is at 1700. do i need to hook up anything else inline with the tach or should i wire it a different way? i hooked it up to the dist. thanks for your input.
