We have had our civic from brand new. At 142k the trans dies. Found that was worst year for civic automatic. We hate to just sell what has been a wonderful car with a strong engine and great handling. Don't know if we should sell it or switch it to a stick shift. We love the car and hate the idea of the car being sold for parts, but not willing to pay the big bucks for an automatic that isn't even 2nd best.
