ok i got a few options but im trying to decide which is the best.
this is what i got.
in my car right now is a fully built bottom end with eagle rods, srp 10:1 y8 pistons, a6 block, and teflon coated bearings, with a stock y8 head, arp head studs.
this is what im doing
i got a spare y8 head thats stripped and ready to go to the machine sto get a valve job done with a 10 thousands mill, port and polish. i have a full crower valve train, valves, springs and retainers, and a stage 3 cam. i also have a set of p29 pistons.
i want to use the eagle rods with the p29's but i know i cant. so my question is should i use my built bottom end and use the soon to be built head?
or if i use the p29 pistons, what rods i should use? are there any forged rods that are a pressed pin so i can use the p29's?
any help, suggestions, or advice is appreciated. thanks
