Need some advice

Just about finished with the swap...but ran into an issue I'm not sure how to handle. I have read that one can bypass coolant to the throttle body that comes from the water tube on the back of the engine, goes to the IAC, to the throttle body, and eventually goes to where the upper rad hose connects. My concern here is if I do this will my idle be affected by coolant not going to the IAC and throttle body. Some articles I have read suggest that this lowers intake air charge. Any ideas or knowledge concerning this would be of great help...will spread the rep for this one.
