I'm just posting this here, because I know most of the regulars come in here. I haven't visited the general maintenance in forever.

I was hoping to get this thing fixed by tomorrow. It shouldn't be a difficult fix but I'm not sure why the alternator won't drop. I undid the top two mounting bolts and got the nut undone on the bottom bolt. I can't get the bottom bolt to push through and I don't know how to get around the AC belt or to loosen it so I can take it off temporarily while I put the alternator belt on and then button everything back up.
