My car is almost ready to roll (swap almost complete :D )...now I'm trying to decide what it's going to roll on. Now keep in mind it's an accord...I have a set of 18" Enkei RS-5's with 215/40 Yokohama Paradas on there right now. Their weight isn't that bad considering how big they are..(one wheel = 21.4 lbs). Do you think a 17" or 16" set-up that saves about 28 lbs. (roughly) is worth it? And if so, what tires would you recommend (size & brand)? Thanks for the imput guys!

16 inch
16 lbs or less

= savings of 22 lbs

+ smaller tires = less weight

probly save another 15-20 lbs

so now your looking at a weight reduction of 37-42lbs
because this is rotational mass its effect on acceleration is 10:1
so basicly this would have the same effect as removing 370-420lbs from the static weight of the car
all things equal that is .37 - .42 off your 1/4 mile times
brakind distance is also reduced
handling will be better
ride will be smoother

tire depends on what you want it for (just summer, year round, hard driving, cruising, etc...)

DAMN, gettin really fuckin technical, makes me want to go out and get some 15s or something
