Need To Know Where To Run Certain Tach Wire?

I almost have my tach all ready to be re-installed after my new motor swap(B18C in my 92 Hatch). I had the wire off my tach that "reads" the "rpm signal" running to the blue wire off the distributor on my old motor, it worked but i think it was un-accurate. I heard you could run the tach wire straight into the ECU(P72 obd-1) but i need to know what wire/pinout to run it to? Please Help. THANKS!

on my friends civic with a b16 there is a factory output for a tach on the wiring harness. Look at the connectors on the drivers side close to the firewall, there should be a blue/white wire (I think its that color) that isnt connected to anything, this is the output for the rpm signal. Not sure if its the same for your b18 but it should be.
