ok here goes.... i was stupid and put a d16y5 into the car and put the d16y8 intake on it... i put a cam,header,coldairintake and exhaust... now it has great top end when i hit the vtec but the bottom end sucks... i have bee researching the y5 and i found out its a vtec-e engine and thats why it has no bottomend... so here is the question.... if i put the head from the y8 and port it out a few thousands and polish it and put the new cam in there will i have better bottom end or am i just screwed with haveing th y5 block in there.. please let me know i have a friend that is helping me and we are just wondering... you can even call me and we can talk on the phone but i need to know asap...
