new at the engine swaps

    ok i have a 91 5spd accord lx coupe and i want to put the h22a in and turbo it, is i never done this before my first car was 89 carb accord then i got this one, the question besides all the ecu's wiring har. the engine n block is, can the h22a bolt up to the stock trany or should i jus go with the lsd trany? and can i use the stock axles or do i have to upgrade the axles?basicly im lookin for advise to make this swap easier n less problems and im not lookin for bullshit comments or anything im jus looking for help thanks

    if you want you can use your stock tranny and all for the h22a,, but if you want better tranny go with the h22a tranny

    you can use the stock axles also, you will just need to take the half shaft off the accord motor and put it on the h22a motor

    ok so basicly i can use almost everything on the accord mtor on tha h22? and is it gunna b bitch running the wiring and ecu?

    its a easy swap, just use your stock harness and add the wires you dont have witch will only be like 3

    actually what i found out is that the wires are way off, and you will have to relocate all the wires besides two. the easiest way to do it is going to hasport, they charge 299$ it takes em about 2 weeks to build. you will have to send in your stock accord engine harness(or another one from a junkyard or something) and the h22 engine harness, and they will send you one back so it will be plug and play. so you drop it in, clip it up, and go

    Hey I was reading your question and just wanted to let you know you should use a h22 transmission or you will be changing it out quickly, the stock accord tranny want take much abuse, I know from experience.

    i have a 87 carb accord, and am looking to do an engine swap... depending on how cheap i can do it. anyone have any fuel injected engines?

    Are you just looking to upgrade to an injected Accord engine from the 80s? Or are you wanting to do like a B18/H22 swap?
