Brake turns it off too....but you can barely depress the clutch and shut off the cruise....light shuts off. After my initial adjustment of the master cylinder connection to the pedal....the switch for the cruise was wide open (off)....so I spun the threads to get the switch closer to the pedal until the switch was fully depressed. Quick fix that took only a minute and the cruise worked again after that...so it must have been the problem
