I've been through a couple pages, haven't seen anything I like yet.
 
Lol, by ugly I mean like worn, blued up pipes, not rusting off mandrel bent tubing, but if I go the wrapped route, I was considering doing mandrel bent. I'd still like it to be stainless... Does stainless blue? :ph34r:
 
My stainless header bronzed. Either way it'll look good/a whole lot better.
 
I'd consider those then. I just really like the worn look of the ones on it. And if I did go with other pipes, I wouldn't go much if any longer.
 
I built these thing for a few years... if you have any questions, from simple bolt on pipes to full custom fabrication, don't hesitate to ask.

Its like tuned length stepped headers VS a 4-1 eBay header!
 
Dude, it's a stock Harley.

A stock Honda won't see shit if all you swap is a tuned length stepped header. +5hp! woo woo!
 
IIRC, he said the bike had been worked over a bit in a previous thread.
 
Definitely not stock, I'm not sure what it has in it. In either case, I'm not really looking for more power right now. I'd like to get it together function wise, and start saving up to get it what I want it to be. Performance can always come later if I want it.

My old man raced a VRod once. Beat him, but that sportster put up a hell of a fight. Its got screamin eagle pistons, lifters, exhaust, high output ignition (First time I rode it i was like "WTF? no tumblers?)

Harleys are not fast bikes, and you'll spend several grand to make it fast.. And it still won't be fast. But it will say "screaming eagle" all over the god damn thing. Forget fast, go for a nice cruiser/chopper/whatever.
